Well, I just place an order for some new mentalism material and hopefully I will be recieving them shortly. I plan on paging through them and posting some comments and first impressions once I receive them. Here is what is coming:
- The Artful Mentalism of Bob Cassidy
- Act Two by Barry Richardson
- Some booklet on Equivoque by Jack Dean (I hear it is very good)
- Mainly Mental - claims to have some of the classics in here, we'll see...
- Psychi Sight by Jack Dean - a treatist on blindfold work

I've heard good things about him, but I've yet to really check into it.

You'll probably love Cassidy's book. It's an amazing book. I love it so much. I'm sure you knew this before you bought the book, but he's pretty big on billet work. Some of his versions of classics are my absolute favourite.
The best thing that I have ever read on equivoque is Docc Hilford's E-Voque. You should really check it out sometime, it's really well thought out, and has an impromptu routine in it. He was in town for a few days (really nice guy), and he performed it at least 5 times for laymen. One of the times he performed it three times in a row, getting his hotel room upgraded for free.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on Act Two. I plan on getting both of Richardson's books pretty soon.
